Breeding conditions:

No information other than comment that birds were not numerous generally. Lakes about Kotzebue had breeding families of waterfowl and gulls were active aroud waste disposal areas. Even fewer birds noticed about Nome - except in the area of safety lagoon 64^30'N, 164^45'W, where there was active bird life.
